Yes, however; the fruit will sink to the bottom of the milk/yoghurt canister with the yoghurt sitting on top of the fruit once fermented. Being whole fruit, or large pieces of fruit, the culture will not eat much of the sugar from the fruit. This will not negatively affect your yoghurt making, however, if you try to mix the fruit up into the yoghurt this will break the curd and make the yoghurt softer and runnier.
We recommend adding your fruit at the time of serving your yoghurt.
